Gratitude is fashionable
Where have you been all of 2020? Would you believe how many times I get asked this question about my fashion blog? Valid question to which I have a valid answer.
The answer is simple. This year started out so promising for everyone and then came a major hiccup. One that analysts could not predict ahead of the realisation.
But having been on a journey to develop my ability to control more of my outcomes, my focus is hinged on gratitude!
Although it has been a year mostly uncertain, it’s most certainly been one of the best years for many. And for that I truly am grateful.
As a career-focused mum, a lot of my spare time has been dedicated to finding and organising childcare for my two little ones. Therefore for the first time in a long time being able to go about daily tasks and projects while being there for my little ones has been an eye opener and a truly refreshing blessing.
From this standpoint I am extremely grateful for the fantastic opportunities to realise my true desires to catapult me to my highest expression of myself.
Exiting the year 2020 with my heart full of hope, faith and trust I want to say that my biggest fashion obsession aka Max Mara Teddy Bear coat materialised at Christmas! But…before you query that and the spend in 2020, it was in the form of a Top Shop version (so similar, so good, so expensive looking).
Max Mara retails at £2,300 ish whereas Top Shop steal version retails at £80 ish (but looks and feels and carries like a £200 coat).
Could this year get any better?!
So to you all, my faithful readers and supporters, I wish for you the absolute best year ahead full of your wishes, wants and aims (I ams)!
