Key CHAIN: To stress or not to stress
Today I am writing about key chains because recently I had a closer look, by accident, at my key chain and realised ashamedly that this key chain I have been lugging around is in fact 10 years old; with a bunch of dysfunctional keys too. Oh my goodness, it was as if I was looking at somebody else's key chain and wondering why they hadn't made the effort to change it by now. I simply could not believe my eyes.
How long had I been lugging this rubbish around for and for what purpose. So I am stressing rather badly. It had suddenly dawned on me that most of the keys I had on this key ring were no longer required as I have moved house twice in that space of time.
Can anyone relate to what I am talking about? It is like that pair of flats you have had for such a long time, the loyal work horse that goes everywhere with you, and then one day you look down at your feet (it isn't like you don't look at your feet at all, but this time you actually look look) and gasp at what horrible shoes there are on your feet! One of those epiphany moments.
So at last, any excuse to go shopping is a good excuse but this one is legit and I wasn't going to let anyone talk me out of a little treat.
So I decided to get a new key ring the marilyn1diva style. Having said that plus looking at what is out there on the market, I am shortlisting a Sophie Hulme shearling, a Lanvin pom pom, a Burberry London teddy and a Chloe gold plated set.
I am trying to keep it simple but at the same time, it has to meet the marilyn1diva criteria. The critera standard is set at elegant and fun.
